Peeling

A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. The new skin is also temporarily more sensitive to the sun. There are three basic types of chemical peels:

Superficial Peels

Requires one to seven days to heal. Treated skin will initially be red and may scale. Lotion or cream should be applied until the skin heals, followed by daily use of sunscreen. Makeup can usually be worn the next day.

Medium Peels

Requires seven to 14 days to heal. Treated skin will initially be red and swollen. Swelling worsens for the first 48 hours. Eyelids may swell shut. Blisters may form and break. Skin crusts and peels off in seven to 14 days. Skin must be soaked daily for a specified period, followed by ointment application. Antiviral medication is taken for 10 to 14 days. Mild lotion or cream may be applied. Avoid all sun exposure until healing is complete. Camouflage makeup may be worn after five to seven days. A follow-up appointment will be necessary to monitor progress.

Dermapen

Dermapen micro-needling uses a small dermatology device the dermapen, for a micro-needling procedure which has the capability to effectively address skin problems such as ageing, fine lines, stretch marks and acne scars.
The dermapen derives its name from the word ‘dermatology’ and a ‘pen’, which it resembles in appearance. The dermapen micro-needling treatment is able to achieve skin which is tighter, brighter and refreshed. Dermapen is now favored by cosmetic experts around the world, after having proved its efficiency and effectiveness, as well as flexibility in how it is used.
Aside from its anti-aging and scar reducing benefits, dermapen micro-needling has many other benefits including:

  • Minimizing enlarged pores
  • Tightening the skin
  • Treating hair loss problems such as alopecia
  • Helps the skin to absorb products more efficiently, ensuring the most benefits can be received from skin care products

Deep Peels

Requires 14 to 21 days to heal. The treated area will be bandaged. Skin must be soaked four to six times daily, followed by ointment application for the first 14 days. Afterwards a thick moisturizer is applied for the next 14 days. Antiviral medication is taken for 10 to 14 days. Mild lotion or cream may be applied. Avoid all sun exposure for three to six months. Camouflage makeup may be worn after 14 days. Several follow-up appointments will be necessary to monitor progress.

Skin Booster Injection

Skin Booster are a brand new approach to nourishing your skin, especially designed to deliver deep-skin hydration.
This means increasing hydration levels within the skin to deliver lasting moisturisation and improvements on the skin’s surface, creating a fresh and natural look.

The treatment involves hydrating microinjections of a soft, gel-like substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA) into the skin, which improves the skin’s firmness, elasticity and radiance. Water-loving HA is found naturally in the body where it maintains hydration in the skin. As we age, the quality of our HA diminishes over time. Now you have the opportunity to replenish and maintain natural hydration levels from within as the stabilized HA in Skinboosters
The Skinboosters are the only stabilized Hyaluronic Acid products available for skin revitalization. The stabilization ensures a long-term effect.

The treatment involves giving a series of tiny injections of hyaluronic acid into the chosen area of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the body and functions to maintain hydration levels in the skin. However, as we age the hyaluronic acid level in our body diminishes. Skin booster replaces the lost hyaluronic acid in the body and thus restores the skin’s firmness, natural hydration and radiance. It also stimulates the production of collagen and improves skin elasticity. Moreover, it lifts and soothes away lines and restores your skin tone and youthful volume.

You can notice visible improvements to the skin just after one treatment. All together it comprises a series of three treatments which are placed one month apart. This is followed by maintenance treatments at 6 months after the first course, then a year later and then 18 months later making it an affordable way of rejuvenating skin.

Aquagold

Aquagold is a patented gold-plated micro-injection system that painlessly delivers custom solutions into the skin at the ideal 600 micron depth micro needles to reach the dermis. This single use disposable applicator contains a reservoir that can be filled with ingredients tailored to your patients specific skin needs – such as vitamins, enzymes, hormones plant extracts, micro quantities of botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid fillers – it is then applied gently to the surface of the skin, with the entire treatment taking less than 10 minutes!

This pain-free treatment deposits tiny amounts of cross-linked hyaluronic acid under the skin along products such as Botox, Dysport, growth factors, and peptides. Hyaluronic acid boosts hydration of the skin from within, creating luminosity and dewy glow.

The tiny amounts of Botox or Dysport that is placed in the dermis can tighten pore size, soften acne scars and decrease very fine crinkling in areas around the lateral cheeks, under the eyes, and around the mouth. Other skin rejuvenating ingredients such as antioxidants, vitamins, growth factors, and retinols can be added as well. The treatment is pain-free.

The skin’s hydration balance is restored, the result is lasting deep hydration, reduced pore size and naturally radiant smooth skin.
