Platelet Rich Plasma

Table of Contents

PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) is a technology that uses ingredients from your own blood to regenerate your skin and to rejuvenate collagen, resulting in vibrant fresh, younger looking skin it also stimulates cell growth where it is injected, helping your body heal itself the natural way, without using chemicals or foreign substances of any kind. There is no possibility of an allergic reaction because the plasma comes from your own body. A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm. We then prepare it to isolate the platelets and associated growth factors. While the PRP is being prepared, we clean the injection site and treat it with a topical numbing gel. After 15 minutes, we use very fine needles to inject the PRP, This causes minimal discomfort. Mild swelling and bruising can occur, but this generally resolves within three days.

PRP Injections are Effective for Treating:

  • The eye area
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improvement in skin tones and texture
  • Full face rejuvenation
  • Dull dry skin
  • Hair loss
